Teaching STREAM in a Changing World

Everything has been set up for project based learning in our STREAM & Technology learning in our state of the art lab.  

 

We carry out STREAM units all year long that will each contain a technology skill.  The students will attend class once a week for a standard class time and come to the lab for additional time as needed based on the STREAM unit we're working on.  Each STREAM unit will include a technology skill for the students.  The STREAM units themselves will be made up of existing Project Lead The Way Units as well as new units developed in house.  Most of all, new units & technologies are always being added to adapt to the changing "technology landscape".

Our goal is to be comfortable using technology as a tool when we leave St. Clement's.  If it's typing a report due in middle school history, creating a slide show or movie for a high school Engilsh course, coding a robot to complete a task, or graphing data results for a science project using Excel or Google Sheets...our students will be prepared!
